[English Translation:]
No matter if you're near or far
We come from the land of God
No matter where you belong
We'll fight for your freedom
I am the mountain, you are the sea flowing toward me
You are the river that runs through me, I am her she is me
Created from dust and sand, born to lead this land
Where we come from we were made to be strong
Our legacy will carry on
And if a piece of home
Resonates in your soul
Your journey will take you
Where you belong
No matter if you're near or far
We come from the land of God
No matter where you belong
We'll fight for your freedom
[RIA HALL:]
The heritage of this land is deep, we are it's legacy
I am her warrior, I fight for thee, we have the victory
Born from blood and tears, I am stronger than fear
[TROY KINGI:]
We strive to move to our destiny
we practice more than what we preach
and if a piece of home resonates in your soul
your journey will take you where you belong
No matter if you're near or far
We come from the land of God
No matter where you belong
We'll fight for your freedom
[NZ NATIONAL ANTHEM – MAISEY RIKA]
God of Nations at thy feet
In the bonds of love we meet
Hear our voices we entreat
God defend our free land!
No matter if you're near or far
We come from the land of God
No matter where you belong
We'll fight for your freedom
No matter if you're near or far
We come from the land of God
No matter where you belong
We'll fight for your freedom
No matter if you're near or far
We come from the land of God
No matter where you belong
We'll fight for your freedom
Modern Māori Quartet feat. Awhimai Fraser 'Māreikura
It’s quite basic
I don’t know what it’s about/lyrics
It’s nice but I can hardly hear the girl.
WAIRUA-Maimoa
It’s looks exciting and fun. Colourful as well
I like that it has a good meaning behind it
English lyrics
The essence of soul and spirit tingles the skin
An essence that isn't truly felt until one opens up
Once confronted by internal debate, a source of life and inspiration springs within you
A spring-well of instinct and a soul that is completely yours
[Chorus]
It is your SPIRIT - may it spread around the world
It is your SOUL - let it fly and soar
Filled with instinct and inspiration that can guide you to your full potential
A little wairua is better than none at all, be it small or large - it is still a gift
Although it may not be tangible, it's a connection blind to the naked eye
Once confronted by internal debate, a source of life and inspiration springs within you
A spring-well of life and soul that is completely yours
It is your SPIRIT - may it spread around the world
It is your SOUL - let it fly and soar
A subtle means of inspiration and spiritual flow that can guide you to your full potential
Stomp clap the beat the beat clap, to the pound pound clap, the beat the beat CLAP!
Stand up and let your wairua guide you!
Kalega
It has quite a nice beat
I like how changes from english to maori throughout the song
I don’t know the english translations for the maori parts.

Heating Particles (Heating a ball and ring)
Tuesday 1st of May 2018
01/05/2018
Today Drew, Josh and myself (Jessie) did an experiment with particles where we heated a ball and ring with a Bunsen burner on a blue flame. We experimented by heating one at a time then cooling them, then heating both at the same time (Josh and myself tried to get them stuck but it didn't work) Drew unfortunately didn't do much because of his broken finger.
Here is a small list of items we used
-A ball and ring made out if brass.
-A Bunsen burner
-A heat proof mat
What happened ?
As we heated up the brass ball first we noticed it started to expand, and didn't fit through the ring anymore but when, when we heated the ring it also expanded and then the ball, fit through the ring once again. we also noticed that the colour changed from gold to a bronze type colour when heated and when cooled, it turned gold again.

Chromatography
1.Definition- A technique for the separation of a mixture by passing it in solution or suspension through a medium in which the components move at different rates.
2.Chromatography is a laboratory technique for the separation of a mixture. The mixture is dissolved in a fluid called the mobile phase, which carries it through a structure holding another material called the stationary phase.
Yesterday (20/03/2018) Drew,Joel,Josh and I went out and collected three types of leaves from different trees, we came back in and started grinding up the leaves while adding ethanol. The next day (today 21/03/2018) we have continued the experiment, with filter paper, tape, boiling tubes, test tubes, and splints, what we have been doing is taping a splint to filter paper and, lowering it into a boiling tube to test the length. We then added ethanol to the bottom of two boiling tubes then put the filter paper in and added a drop, of our crushed up leaf mixture (Which Mr Guy had finished and turned into a liquid,) and put a drop of it on the filter paper and put the filter paper back into the boiling tube, which started the experiment we failed two but one has kind of worked but that was Mr Guys leaf mixture,
26/03/2018
Today we have done the same experiment but with felt tip pens and ethanol has been replaced with water and we watched the different pigments come out. All of them are successful the colours we have used are red, purple, black and blue. Purple and blue have basically the same colours red doesn't really have to many colours coming out of it,black has quite a lot of colours coming out of it such as green, blue, yellowish green, purple, etc.
A quick list of materials/tools you will need/use.
>Wooden splints
>Filter paper/chromatography paper
>Water/ ethanol
>Crushed leaves/ felt tip pens
>4 test tubes (not boiling tubes)
>Test tube rack
>Pipette
>Beaker
(all depends on what your using if your using leaf pigment or felt tip pen if you are using leaves then use ethanol if your using felt tip pens then use water)
